With the increasing news and concern regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus, IFS wants to ensure our clients that we are monitoring the situation and have resources in place to provide continued service. The IFS Pandemic Response plan is part of our overall Business Continuity Plan (BCP), which is reviewed annually and was last tested on January 30, 2020.
Below is further information on the status of the IFS workforce and our preparedness for this situation:
The IFS workforce is equipped and trained to work from home should it become necessary. All key business and support functions can be carried out remotely.
In the event that the IFS workforce is diminished, we will re-focus resources based on the below prioritization's in order to maintain key functions for as long as possible:
Priority 1: Monitoring and support of existing production environments
Priority 2: Support of critical business operations
Priority 3: General client support and project implementation
Priority 4: Sales and marketing activities
IFS has a mature Contingency Plan in place which includes back-ups for key personnel.
At this time, IFS has asked employees to review all upcoming travel to client locations. If the client is willing, and it is effective to do so, face-to-face meetings will be changed to videoconferencing.
IFS will continue to monitor the situation, and will provide further communication as necessary. If you have any questions regarding IFS preparedness, please contact our COO, Jeff Deming, at Jeff.Deming@ifsautomation.com or by phone, at 980-216-4234.
Our focus will continue to be the support of our clients, and the safety and well-being of our employees, and we hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
